Marugo Lake Resort, Tapaz,Capiz with its crystal clear water surrounded by eden-green hilly mountain and blue skies which makes quiet and so peaceful place to stay in. Marugo Lake is actually a dam made to irrigate nearby San Julian, San Antonio and San Pedro farm lands. How to get there? Marugo Lake Resort is three kilometers away from the town proper of Tapaz and 33.6 kilometers away from our town Calinog via old Iloilo-Tapaz Road. If you're a traveller coming from different places or from City of Iloilo, you can ride a Ceres bus going to Tapaz from Ungka II Terminal in Jaro the fare is Php80.00 for students and Php100.00 for regular passengers. From town proper, you may catch a single motorcycle at the Poblacion to take you to Marugo, regular fare is  Php40 one way per passenge, you may need to pay the maximum of two if you are alone.You may ask the driver to take photos of you along the road with its beautiful green mountains. Upon entering Marugo Lake, there are new cottages that is situated beside the lake going up to the swimming pool is where the entrance is located and it is for free if you only want to pictures around the lake.

The swimming pool that has an overlooking view of the lake.  You may rent the floating cottage. Cottage rental is good for one day and can accommodate 10-15 persons but if you want to go over night, there are also rooms available near the lake which is made of light materials and does not need air conditioning system and is fully ventilated. There are also rooms available uphill and fully air-conditioned.
